Kore Steel · The rugged line

Same seed. Steel skin.

Kore Steel is the same Seed platform in brushed stainless steel housings, built for the places that destroy plastic: wash-down rooms, weather, impact, chemicals, curious hands, and time. A home Seed lives in a quiet room. A Steel Seed lives where the work is. Same seed, steel skin, planted where nothing delicate survives.

The Steel line

Every sense Kore has, in steel.

The platform does not change. The skin does. Each Steel Seed reads the same signals as its home counterpart and reports to the same Root, hardened for corridors that get mopped with chemicals, pumps that shake, and fields that freeze and bake.

Concept render of Steel AirConcept
Air · Steel

Steel Air

Particulates, VOCs, CO2, and CO in waiting rooms, wards, and factory floors, in a shell that survives disinfection and bumping carts.

Concept render of Steel WaterConcept
Water · Steel

Steel Water

Leaks, moisture, and water temperature at risers, irrigation lines, and in the soil itself, wet by definition and built for it.

Concept render of Steel VibeConcept
Vibration · Steel

Steel Vibe

Vibration signatures of pumps, fans, and motors read against their own baselines. It bolts to the machine and takes the machine's life.

Concept render of Steel RootConcept
Backbone · Steel

Steel Root

The Root hub in a steel enclosure for plant rooms, pump houses, site trailers, and barns: battery-backed and Link-connected.

Climate · Steel

Steel Sense

Temperature, humidity, and pressure for kitchens, cold storage, mechanical rooms, barns, and grain bins, where heat, steam, and cleaning chemistry are normal.

Acoustic · Steel

Steel Sound

Sound events against a baseline of normal: glass, alarms, impacts, machinery changing character. Mounted high and public, built to be ignored and undamaged.

Presence · Steel

Steel Presence

Camera-free presence and motion for closed wings, restrooms, and facilities after hours, in the most kicked and cleaned rooms in any building.

State · Steel

Steel Contact

Doors, gates, valves, panels, and lids: the binary truth of things that should be shut. It lives on the hinge line and takes the slam and the weather.

Light · Steel

Steel Light

Light levels and schedules for park paths, greenhouses, storage yards, and night corridors, mounted where ladders are rare.

One platform

Same brain, harder shell

Steel changes nothing about which intelligence reads the signal. People spaces lean Personal Intelligence in pattern. Facilities, process, and field data run Material Intelligence.

Honesty, in writing

Design targets, not certifications.

Steel housings are designed toward sealed, wash-down-tolerant, outdoor-rated targets, in the IP65 to IP66 class of enclosure performance. Those are targets on a drawing, not test results. No Steel product is certified, listed, or rated today, and no customer is ever told otherwise. The line is a concept line: what exists to sell today is the audit and the plan, and hardware follows paid pilots.

The heavy end

Where the Steel line meets the factory floor.

The top of the line is the Material Intelligence industrial trio, housed for the floor they were born on. All three remain proposed concepts, unvalidated, and they enter only through shadow-mode audits.

Concept sensor · Acoustic

Resonance Signature Array

Acoustic emission and high-frequency vibration clusters for cracking, friction, tool wear, and process instability. A signal change is an indicator to investigate, never proof of a defect.

Concept sensor · Electromagnetic

Microstructure & Stress EM Probe

Eddy-current and magnetic Barkhausen methods for internal stress and material state in steel and alloys, read between scheduled inspections.

Concept sensor · Chemistry

Process Chemistry & Drift Sentinel

Process-specific optical, electrochemical, gas, and coolant sensing for the variable that always moves first.

The money logic

Sensors save money by speaking earlier.

Steel sensors do not save money by existing. They save money by moving information earlier than the loss. Six mechanisms, each measured first in the audit, against the customer's own records. Kore claims no savings figures of its own, because Kore has not earned any yet.

Mechanism 01

Leaks caught on night one

Moisture trending up behind a wall or under a cooler, caught on night one, is a work order. Caught on day thirty, it is demolition and closed rooms. The Insurance Information Institute puts the average water damage and freezing claim around $15,400 (III, 2019 to 2023 data). That is a loss figure, cited as one.

Mechanism 02

Drift before downtime

Machines announce failure in vibration and process drift days before they seize. A baseline that never sleeps turns an emergency stop into a planned repair. We do not quote an industry downtime number. We baseline your machines, and the number that matters becomes yours.

Mechanism 03

Storage that logs itself

Cold storage fails quietly: a refrigerator or bin drifting warm at 1 AM is destroyed inventory by morning. The log most sites trust is written by hand, twice a day, by someone busy. The seed writes it every minute and calls on the bad night.

Mechanism 04

Irrigation by measurement

Clock-based irrigation waters the calendar, not the soil. Measured moisture at depth turns watering into a decision. The EPA WaterSense program estimates as much as 50 percent of outdoor water use is lost to wind, evaporation, and runoff from inefficient irrigation (EPA WaterSense).

Mechanism 05

No more unwitnessed hours

Most facility theft and vandalism is a crime of unwitnessed hours. Presence and contact sensing removes the unwitnessed part, alerting in the moment and documenting the timeline.

Mechanism 06

Energy waste, made visible

Lights on empty paths, pumps against closed valves, HVAC conditioning empty wings. Baselines of light, temperature, vibration, and contact state make the waste visible as a pattern, and patterns are fixable.

Where steel goes

Four doors in. One audit each.

Every market enters the same way: a fixed-scope audit of records the customer already keeps, a baseline, a placement plan, and a pilot judged on warnings given and how early. Prices below are illustrative test ranges being validated in first conversations, not rate cards.

Hospitals · Facilities only

Hospitals and clinics

Air truth at chair level, cold-chain evidence that writes itself, and water risk made visible, for facilities and clinical engineering staff. Kore senses the conditions of the building. It does not monitor patients, and it never speaks about care.

Facility Intelligence Audit · illustrative $750 to $1,500 per facility

Grounds · Private operators

Parks and public spaces

Irrigation by measured soil moisture, mains and pump lines watched overnight, and closed facilities documented after dusk, for resorts, camps, HOAs, private school grounds, marinas, and event venues.

Grounds Intelligence Audit · illustrative $400 to $900 per property

Agriculture · The flagship

Farmland

Soil moisture at depth, pumps and pivots that report flow nobody called for, and bins that whisper their temperature in week two. Agriculture accounts for approximately 80 percent of the nation's consumptive water use (USDA Economic Research Service), so the difference between watering by clock and watering by measurement is the whole reservoir.

Field Intelligence Audit · illustrative $500 to $1,500 per operation

Industry · Plants and lines

Factories and large operations

Drift, vibration, stress, and chemistry on machines, lines, and materials, entering in shadow mode through the original audit, with control earned last and only with authorization.
