Kore · Master Build Log
The development record, kept honest.
Fourteen linked records covering the Kore Vision from concept to commercial readiness: the dated build history, an executive dashboard, product and decision registers, risks, costs, and funding requirements. Built to survive due diligence. Every claim traceable; everything unverified marked as such.
Pre-prototype. Concept stage.
Read this first
Kore is pre-prototype. There is no finished hardware yet and no revenue. What exists: a defined architecture, a hardware path, university engineering conversations, a live website, product concept renders, and a crowdfunding campaign for the first build. This log distinguishes what is built from what is planned. Fact marks verified events, Estimate marks third-party figures and projections, and Not yet measured marks what does not exist yet. Nothing here is a partnership until both sides say so.
Record 01
Master Build Log
The chronological record of every meaningful development activity, from origin through today. Newest entries are added at the end of the timeline, above Planned.
December 2025
OriginThe work begins
Kore starts as a vision: homes that protect the people inside them. Early development runs on two tracks, the sensing hardware vision and a sustainable-manufacturing track exploring upcycled materials, community micro-factories, and a circular material economy.
September 2026
ArchitectureThe system gets its shape
The Kore architecture is locked: Root (the hub), Seeds (modular sensors), and the expanding vision built on top. "Keeping Our Roots Enriched" becomes the working name and mission.
- Hardware path defined around the ESP32: CO2, particulate matter, VOC, temperature, humidity, pressure, and moisture sensing, with WiFi connectivity.
- Kore Intelligence framed as six capabilities: Sense, Learn, Detect, Connect, Protect, Insight.
- Personal Intelligence defined as the individual layer: each person owns a private file of sensed rhythms, shared with doctors or family only by explicit opt-in.
- Brand identity created: forest green and warm cream.
September 24 – 26, 2026
OutreachUniversity engineering conversations open
First contact with university capstone programs about a Kore build partnership:
- Georgia Tech Mechanical Engineering Capstone
- UGA College of Engineering Capstone (2027–2028 cycle opens January 2027)
- Kennesaw State, Georgia Southern (senior-design sponsorship quoted at $2,500/semester)
- RPI Design Lab, Purdue, Cal Poly
First version of the website goes live. The Kore brand asset library is created.
October 1 – 2, 2026
DesignProduct renders and visual language
Concept product renders produced for the Root hub and Seed sensor family, plus the Kore Pixel Style for concept films. A $18,000 full-build quote is received from a product design firm; the decision is made to pursue the leaner university-partnership path instead.
October 4, 2026
ProposalsCapstone proposals submitted
- RPI capstone sponsorship form submitted for Spring 2027.
- Purdue Spring sponsorship package sent.
- Joules Accelerator Cohort 18 application submitted.
October 5, 2026
PivotUltra-surveillance positioning
The positioning sharpens: Kore is a full ultra-surveillance safety system, cameras included, for unmatched safety and documentation. A camera-free option remains for schools, churches, and senior living. First Seed Presence concept render completed.
October 6 – 7, 2026
FundingThe $30,000 raise opens
The GoFundMe campaign launches: "Building Kore: A Home That Senses Danger Before It Strikes," goal $30,000, to fund the V0.1 prototype build. The Kore Vision statement is written: "Mind, body, and money are one system. The room is the interface."
Penn State Learning Factory fit call scheduled for October 6; Freeside Atlanta open house planned for October 6. Outcomes to be logged here.
October 8, 2026
Launchthekorevision.com goes live
- Domain registered; full site deployed with 30-section luxury overhaul: the problem, verified statistics, the five-step Kore Loop, technology specs, roadmap, and funding.
- Working email signup forms wired to the site.
- 60+ tailored outreach emails sent to pilot partners, press, podcasters, and funders.
- Auburn University Engineering proposes a meeting (Oct 16).
- Embedded.fm (podcast) asks for proof of work, which is why this log exists.
October 10, 2026
MediaHospital safety commercial produced
43-second concept commercial: patients in a hospital ward, what the room hides (stale air, unwitnessed falls, unheard distress at night), Kore sensing and documenting, the alert reaching doctors in time, then the change: safer patients, stronger staff, better economics. Rendered in widescreen and vertical cuts; the widescreen version is self-hosted below.
- All statistics cited on screen: indoor air 2 to 5x worse (EPA), 1 in 4 seniors falling each year (CDC), 400+ CO deaths a year (CDC).
- Founder fact pop-ups pause each section; sensor scenes are labeled as concept visualization. This is pre-prototype work, not a product.
- Published as a Reel on Instagram at @thekorevision; a video update on the GoFundMe campaign points there (GoFundMe updates accept photos or YouTube video, not direct uploads); YouTube uploads of both cuts are in progress.
October 11, 2026
LaunchSite rebuilt: five pages, new media, marketing engine
The single long homepage was restructured into five focused pages: Home, How it works, System, Compare, and FAQ. The email signup moved to the top of the homepage, the five-step Kore loop appears once, and the funding ask repeats.
- Six cinematic concept videos generated (hero plus fall, fire, break-in, air quality, and morning scenes) and nine new images, all labeled concept, pre-prototype.
- New homepage sections: "How Smart Is Your Home?" quiz lead magnet, "One founder. One laptop. Zero quit." founder story, and the Founding 500 referral ladder with milestone rewards.
- Site icon added to all pages; search engines pick it up on their next crawl.
- Technical round: security headers, sitemap.xml, robots.txt, Schema.org structured data, social sharing previews, canonical URLs, and faster font loading.
- Research published: 50 website features reverse-engineered from the top smart-home sites, and 50 media marketing tactics from top brands, each with a Kore adaptation.
- Investor-grade Master Build Log created: 14 linked records with an honest baseline. No prototypes, no test results, no team beyond the founder; everything unverified is marked as such.
October 11, 2026
MediaDaily Double episode 1: "The 40-second burglary"
First episode of "31 Nights of Safer Homes": a 48-second vertical Short on what a break-in really looks like, with the cited FBI burglary figure and concept-visualization labels on tech scenes.
- Published to TikTok; flagged under review on upload, visible after review clears.
- Instagram upload rate-limited; YouTube upload blocked by the channel's daily limit. Both to be completed when limits reset.

LaunchKoreBoard and Kore Structures product pages published
Published KoreBoard and Kore Structures product pages. KoreBoard page transcribes the founder's spec sheet (Kore Design Team, rev 1.0): upcycled multi-layer building panel, concept stage. Structures page documents the 8-step airform dome method from upcycled plastic, rubber, and fiber; no structures built. Both pages labeled concept, pre-prototype.
October 11, 2026
LaunchThe Kore Family page: five product lines, one closed loop
Published the Kore Family page (/family): a layered scroll experience presenting the five product lines in founder-set order, KoreBoard first, KoreBin second, then Kore Structures, Kore Root + Seeds, and Kore Intelligence. Includes the material-flow strip (Waste to KoreBin to Ore to KoreBoard to Structures to Sensors) and a grant-funder band on circular economy, waste diversion, affordable sustainable housing, and local manufacturing potential, all in designed-to language with concept stage, pre-prototype, pre-revenue explicit. Homepage gained a five-card family teaser. No invented metrics anywhere on the page.
